Forth-rate state
- Local powers that can hold onto one or several star systems and haven't been annexed yet by a bigger neighbor
- Considering as states is considered an insult of the word
Third-rate state
- Have colonized at least 50 star systems
- Have to be recognized as such
- Their gross domestic product, military power and other parameters have to be up to standard
Second-rate state
- Have colonized at least 1000 star systems
- Have to be recognized as such
- Their gross domestic product, military power and other parameters have to be up to standard
- Have the power to overrun numerous third-rate states without difficulty
Second-rate superstate
- Unofficial term for states, that have conquered numerous star clusters, yet pale against the weakest of first-rate states
- Exist only in the Galactic Rim
First-rate state
- Have to be recognized as such
- Their gross domestic product, military power and other parameters have to be up to standard
- Have the power to overrun numerous second-rate states without difficulty
- Can only be found in the Galactic Center and sometimes in the Galactic Heartland
First-rate superstate
- There are only two: Greater United Terran Confederation and New Rubarth Empire
- They rule over the majority of the Galactic Center
- They are the only powers, that can compete with the MTA and CFA
