A war that erupts every 30 years. The advent of a new generation of mechs is used to get rid of the soon outdated models. The Vesia Kingdom is on the attacking side since they are fighting for honour and noble titles. The Bright Republic on the other side are fighting for survival. The overconfidence of the Vesians always leads to a stalemate, since the Brighters know that the Vesians ultimately lose confidence in the win of the war, if they bunker down in their systems and keep punish them in attrition warfare.
Ves and the Flagrant Vandals[]
When the last Bright-Vesia war starts, Ves Larkinson is enlisted into the Mech Corps. He is assigned to the Flagrant Vandals, an unit of problem soldiers with funding issues.
The Flagrant Vandals are tasked with raiding different locations in Vesia and exiting through the Reinaldan Republic, which is on the other side of the Vesia Kingdom. This operation is very risky, and they suffer considerable losses.
